Group Antenatal Classes with Mumma G Midwifery & More than a Midwife

Antenatal classes with not one but TWO endorsed midwives. Mumma G has teamed up with Rachael from More than a Midwife to present antenatal classes in 3 parts:

Preparation for Labour & Birth, 9am
Breastfeeding, 12pm
Preparation for Caesarean Birth, 3pm

$200 per class, or attend any two classes for $380.

Classes are held at Let's Talk Birth, 11/260-262 Charters Towers Road, Hermit Park.

FAQs

Can I bring my partner?
Yes! Your ticket covers yourself and your labour partner, whoever that may be.

What do I need to bring with me?
A pen and paper and a water bottle are advised.

Will there be a break between classes?
Labour and Birth finishes at 11, and Breastfeeding begins at 12, giving you time to grab a bite to eat and stretch your legs.

When is the best time in pregnancy to attend?
We advise mid second trimester to the beginning of third trimester, allowing you time to think through your birth preferences.

Can I attend if I'm having a caesarean, or is Labour & Birth only relevant for vaginal birth?
We hold separate Caesarean Birth classes. If you are planning a caesarean birth, we advise booking that class separately.

Is this suitable if I'm having twins or a high risk pregnancy?
If you're concerned that you have a high risk pregnancy, please reach out to us. In some cases we advise a more thorough one on one session with a midwife, and we can help arrange that.
