When my little boy Zach was born in 2022 I used to CRINGE every time I saw the plastic clip on his umbilical cord🤮

It flopped around during dressing and nappy changes, looked uncomfortable and made me sad when I chucked it in the bin after his cord finally fell off.

I wished I’d used a cotton cord tie so I had something to keep as I didn't wish to keep the stump itself.

Since then, I have used a cotton tie with my second son in 2024 and the experience was infinitely better!
