Supportive Sleep
Sabrina Mayers
I’m Sabrina. Mum of two - Isaac and Lyla. I became a sleep consultant after having struggles with my son and just not being satisfied with the guidance out there. Leaving my baby to cry for 10 minutes and being told I wasn’t allowed to go in broke my heart and made me want to be sick. So I set out to change that.
I’m a Certified Sleep Consultant and completed study with the Institute of Sensitive Sleep and Lyndsey Hookway. As you can see from those- I like being gentle with babies. I’m different because I focus on attachment and being responsive with our children. I don’t use sleep training like regular sleep consultants and work on finding a cause of sleep challenges rather than Band-Aid approaches with routines, settling techniques.
I work via phone, email or home visits depending on the level of support you want initially. All my packages come with support periods to help guide you 1:1.
Matriarch Medicine
Katrina Lanigan
My name is Katrina. First and foremost I am a mumma to five children and married to an amazing man. I have experienced five amazing births from two hospital births supported by doulas, one home birth with a midwife and two free births. Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood has changed my world and now I have the opportunity every day to support women and guide them to connect with their own divine power and infinite wisdom.
In my professional life, I am the owner of Matriarch Medicine. I offer a combination of products and services that support the women and their family within my community. I am qualified homeopath, medical herbalist, massage practitioner and womb and fertility massage practitioner. I am based in Townsville and have a little home-based clinic where I see women and their family a few days a week. My focus is women’s health, supporting women through reproductive issues such as, infertility, IVF support, menstruation, moon cycles and charting, hormone balancing, pregnancy, birth, post-partum care and menopause, as well as acute ailments that women may experience throughout their life

Total Lifestyle Chiropractic
Dr. Ashleigh Broad
B.Chiro Sci, M.Chiro, DACCP (Paediatrics)
I grew up in a small town in country Victoria. After studying Chiropractic in Sydney, I moved to Mackay in Queensland. I spent the first five years of my career developing skills to serve all my clients in Mackay, as well as teaching chiropractic students at CQ University. During my time in Mackay, I decided to complete a further two year training program. This was to ensure I was fully equipped with the latest research and skills to best look after our pregnant women, newborns and kids all the way through their childhood.
From the moment I decided to be a chiropractor, I knew that I wanted to focus on paediatric care. I am passionate about ensuring every child has the best possible start in life and that their family has the support they need to help them become the best version of themselves. I enjoy assessing and monitoring the development of all the children under my care and love making sure their spine and nervous systems are working at their best. I use a range of gentle and safe techniques to care for children of all ages, love seeing my patients grow and develop into healthy active kids!
Chiropractic Life Pimlico
Dr. Holly Davies
BCHIRO (NZCC)
Holly has a passion for providing care to families and individuals within her community. For as long as Holly can remember she has wanted to work with mums and bubs.
After graduating from New Zealand College of Chiropractic, Holly worked in WA before working around Australia as a locum. It was during this time that she found herself drawn in particular to working with pregnant mums.
During her own pregnancy journey, Hollys awe of womens amazing bodies reached a whole new level. And now, one could say she is a little obsessed. Having personally experience the amazing benefits of being under care, Holly is passionate about helping anyone who wants to improve their health, body and life! Being a part of someone's journey is a real honour. Holly has undertaken seminars in paediatric, and pregnancy centred techniques, including spinning babies and websters workshops.

Birth Workers
Mumma G Midwifery & Lactation
Georgina Bosworth
I’m Georgina Bosworth aka Mumma G. Midwifery chose me and I’m so glad I didn’t resist my true calling. Women, their babies, and families have been the focus of four decades of my practice as a midwife.
I passionately support a woman’s right to bodily autonomy. My midwifery care is holistic and continuous in nature, grounded in an understanding of the social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychological, and physical experiences of women.
These days I’m an endorsed midwife in private practice and an IBCLC (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant). This means I have the privilege of providing continuity of midwifery care for women who want to employ their own midwife for pregnancy, labour, birth, and postpartum care, often with an intent to birth at home. If you choose an in-hospital birth or your journey takes you unexpectedly to a hospital setting, I’ll continue to be your support and advocate.
I live on a farm with my husband, Donal. My three daughters are now mothers themselves. They regularly say, “Everyone deserves a Mumma G”. The arrival of twin sons completed my family with all five of my children born in five years. I have been beyond blessed to be present at each of my six grandbabies’ births. The last one born at home and yet another on the way. Long distance running is a meditative practice of endurance which protects my mental and physical well-being. My deep Christian faith holds me spiritually while I hold others.
Karlee Thompson Birthworker
Karlee Thompson
Hi there! I’m Karlee, I am a mother to 4 wild young home-schooled children and wife to a wonderful and supportive man. We live in a beautiful and breezy home, where the noise flow is loud and constant!
I am occupational therapy trained, I have done two qualifications in babywearing, a placenta encapsulation specialist & post partum doula, birth doula and maternity advocate. I have been supporting families in our community in both paid and volunteer capacity for the last 8 years.
I have recently attended the spinning babies workshop, and my passion for bodywork and balance has been reignited. I look forward to integrating this knowledge into my practice.
I support women through their transformative journey into motherhood, by providing heart-centred and deeply connected care. I love to embrace a “back to basics” approach, so that women can birth using the instinctual knowledge their bodies and their babies poses.
More than a Midwife
Rachael O’Neill
I am a mum to now four beautiful children; Zara, Hazel, Sorcha and Arlo. My matrescence journey has played a big role in shaping the midwife I am. Each of my children have taught me new things about myself and about women and the incredible power we hold.
My last baby was born at home, surrounded by my husband, children, my amazing midwife and our photographer. I had witnessed many homebirths prior to his birth, but the power you have birthing in your own home, inviting others into your space is truly incomparable and not something I could fully appreciate prior to that experience.
Professionally: I completed my midwifery degree right here in Townsville at James Cook University back in 2017. I have worked at a large public hospital on the antenatal/postnatal ward, in birth suite, and in clinics; I have also worked in a midwifery group practice (MGP). I have been attending birth at home as a 2nd midwife since late 2021. I am working towards becoming a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
I am passionate about education and all things birth. In my spare time (what is that), I love reading birth stories, exploring new research, discussing pregnancy, birth and postpartum, and listening to some amazing midwives talk about birth.
Mother Birth Postpartum
Vera Skough
Hi, my name is Vera. Having always viewed birth as a significant and sacred time, I envisioned my own pregnancy and birth as such, too. But when my own experience in pregnancy, birth and postpartum honoured none of my own beliefs, it is what truly ignited the fire in my belly. Starting at the birth center, given a Gestational Diabetes diagnosis and declared high risk, induced at 38 weeks, a long list of interventions, and left with deep emotional and physical scars after an instrumental birth. I journeyed into matrescence with sorrow and regret. What followed was a time of storytelling, listening, understanding, healing and deep unlearning. That fire had been ignited, I knew I had found my passion and my 'Why'.Mother Birth started as placenta encapsulation and art, quickly evolving to so much more. Today, I care for women with gratitude and reverence, offering understanding and unconditional support throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I still offer placenta encapsulation and art. I also run the hypnobirthing immersion Sacred Birth Rising with Kelly Nicolson regularly, borth in a private and in a group setting. I facilitate Mother Blessings and Placenta Burials. And ofcourse, I support women in person during pregnancy, birth and postpartum, and I am honoured to do so. While mainly supporting births at home, I support your divine birth, wherever you choose to birth.

Birth with Brienne
Brienne Vander Motte
I’m Brienne, a Scottish-Belgian mum who moved to Australia in 2017. I’ve always been fascinated by pregnancy and birth for as long as I can remember. I would shove stuffed animals up my top as a toddler to simulate a pregnant belly, and my family have always said I was destined to work in birth in some capacity.
After my first daughter’s birth in March 2020 - an induction that led to a C-section - my passion for birth ramped up, and I would only ever talk about pregnancy and birth. After almost a year of this, my husband told me it was about time I followed this passion, and so I did and became a doula! I have since achieved a freebirth VBAC with the birth of my second daughter.
I cater to all types of birth, be it vaginal, C-section, VBAC, hospital birth or home birth. I tailor a unique care plan for each mum I accompany, and take a special interest in rediscovering the lost and forgotten spiritual (and cultural) practices linked to birth, and how these can be interwoven with our modern view of birth. I also offer a range of other services and products including stand alone birth planning, mothers blessings, birth affirmation cards and more.

Holistic Mother
Kim Graham
I am a trained yoga instructor and teach both restorative and vinyasa yoga in classes and as one on one services. I am a doula and birthworker who services Townsville and surrounding areas, for holistic pregnancy birth and postpartum support.
My passion is empowering women to trust their bodies and trust themselves. To stand in their absolute power and to know themselves wholly mind, body and soul. Over the last three years I have stepped into my own body and claimed my power. Standing true in myself and honouring the beauty that is our vessels. Through the power or yoga and meditation I hope to encourage women to birth in their power.

My name is Ramona, and I am the face behind by Ramona Photography.
My specialties are maternity, birth photography and fresh 48 hours.
I believe mother hood from the start of conception until we take our last breaths is such an empowering and meaningful chapter in our lives that deserves to be told.
I became a mother for the first time in 2023 to my son, which has inspired me to help other mothers create memories that they can look back on fondly as we experience so many firsts and lasts that come around all too quickly.
If you allow me to, I would be honoured to hold space for you and tell your story through a candid lens and capture your memories through the essence of your motherhood journey.
With love,
Ramona xx
