Water immersion is a fantastic tool for labour. Women have reported that they felt more in control and experienced less pain or less intense contractions.

At Let’s Talk Birth we use the La Bassine Professional Birth Pool and custom made liners, some features of the pools are as follows;

• Measures External – 165cm X 135cm X 65cm
• Internal – 125 cm x 95 cm
• Holds 450 litres of water
• Eco-friendly vinyl – no phthalates, lead or cadmium
• Ethically manufactured; no child, forced or underpaid labor
• Inflated floor – 5cm thick
• Shape is oval
• Has two interior handles
