Water immersion is a fantastic tool for labour. Women have reported that they felt more in control and experienced less pain or less intense contractions.
At Let’s Talk Birth we use the La Bassine Professional Birth Pool and custom made liners, some features of the pools are as follows;
Measures External – 165cm X 135cm X 65cm
Internal – 125 cm x 95 cm
Holds 450 litres of water
Eco-friendly vinyl – no phthalates, lead or cadmium
Ethically manufactured; no child, forced or underpaid labor
Inflated floor – 5cm thick
Shape is oval

Because of the nature of birth and expected due dates we will require you to fill out the form below and we will be in contact within 48 hours to let you know of the availability of the birth pools.

Select your estimated due date. Your hire will be reserved for 3 weeks before and after your EDD.
Because birth is unpredictable you will have to worth with us as time of your birth approaches. While we recommend collecting by 37 weeks, if you feel you will need to earlier (or longer) please get into contact with us and we will do our best to accomodate this.
