Umbilical Cord Tie Keepsake

Cord ties are a unique alternative to traditional plastic umbilical cord clips. Not only are cord ties more comfortable for your brand new baby's sensitive skin,
but they are eco friendly being made out of 100%
cotton! Not to mention, pretty bloody cute and they
make nappy changes so much easier.

They can be kept as a keepsake for years to come or discarded guilt free as you're not sending another piece of plastic to landfill. 

This cord tie and packaging has been lovingly
handmade. 

Made from 100% cotton and approximately 20cm
long to allow for secure tying.

There is no evidence to suggest sterilising cord ties is necessary, but if you would prefer to sterilise your cord
tie, boil in a pan of water for 5-10 minutes. Once dry,
place in a bag until it is time to use it.

Your midwife may know how to tie the cord tie but if not
here are tutorials available on YouTube that you can
watch ahead of time to make sure you feel comfortable
tying/helping someone to tie your cord tie.
